The Ocean Township United Grassroots program is available to children in the following birth years:

• 2015 (U9)
• 2016 (U8)
• 2017 (U7)
• 2018 (U6)
• 2019 (U5)
• 2020 (Tots)

Program Schedule

The program starts the beginning of April and will run for 8 weeks with the focus on:

• Running with the ball
• Dribbling
• Passing
• Receiving
• 1v1's and small sided game play
• shooting

Sessions will be led by US Soccer Grassroots Certified paid trainers

     Practice Days

• Grassroots Group 1 (2017, 2018, 2019): Tuesday (skills) & Thursday (Games) 5pm-6pm at Ocean Twp Intermediate Fields
• Grassroots Group 2 (2015,2016): Tuesday (skills) & Thursday (games) 6pm-7pm at Ocean Twp Intermediate Fields

Grassroots Program Dates* for group 1 & 2:

4/9, 4/11, 4/16, 4/18, 4/23, 4/25, 4/30, 5/2, 5/7, 5/9, 5/14, 5/16, 5/21, 5/23, 5/28, 5/30

• Tots (2020, 2021): Wednesdays 3:30pm  - 4:15pm

Tots Program Dates*:

4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29

*Program dates may be adjusted due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.  Communication on changes will be made through TeamSnap.

Equipment

• Age appropriate shin guards are required
• Rubber/plastic cleats are recommended
• Pinny will be provided by the program
• Tee shirt will be provided by the club.
• NO JEWELRY IS PERMITTED AT GAMES OR PRACTICES.
